SEND A POSTCARD!!

You can send postcards to your friends that can include any of the Multimedia files, (you can also add background music to the Document Files) so your friends can enjoy them too!

    1. Click on the name of the file that you want to send as a postcard.
    2. Just above the description you will see, "Send as Postcard" click that hyperlink, then follow the instructions.
    3. The instructions are on the right side of the screen. Be sure to fill out the "Your Name and the Your Email Address Boxes" to insure that Seti UNIVERSE is not accused to SPAM, along with the rest of the information boxes. (P.S. You can add Background Music to your picture or document Postcard!)    back...


EMAILING YOUR FAVORITES!!

    1. Click on the "MEMBER" category where the file is, that you want email.
    2. Click on the "ADD TO FAVORITES Button," below the file that you want to send. (a red checkmark appear on the left side of the button)
    3. You can continue to add files (and other file types) that you want to send in this way. (by repeating steps 1 & 2) When you are finished adding the files that you want to send.
    4. Click on the "View My Favorite Files, Icon" at the top, the icon on the right.
    5. Now click on the "Send My Box Contents By Email, Icon" at the top, second icon from the right.
    6. Enter the email address into the "Your Email Address, Box."
    7. Click the "E-Mail My Favorite Files" button, to email all the files in Your Favorites.

USING THE SLIDE SHOW!!

By clicking on the Right Arrow Icon all of the pictures will be displayed in sequence.  The default speed is set to 1 picture every 6 seconds.  You can change the rate at which the pictures are displayed by simply changing the number in the box!  (when you change the number you do not have to press Enter)    back...

PLAYING  VIDEO  FILES!!

When you click on a Video File and it does not display in your browser.  Click Download Files.  A File Download Box will then open!  Click the Open Button.  The file will then download to your computer and when the download is complete the video will open on your local video player.    back...

PLAYING AUDIO FILES!!

If the audio file instead of playing on your browser, another screen pops up asking you to: "Download File Click Here" and you don't want to download the file.  Click there anyway!  When you click there another box will open up asking you to: "Open Save or Cancel."  If you click Open, the file will be played on your computer's media player.  If you click Save the file will download to your computer. If you click Cancel you will be returned to the previous box.    back...

UPLOAD YOUR OWN FILES!!

You can upload your own files to the Seti UNIVERSE MULTIMEDIA GALLERY for all to enjoy. Here is how you do it!

You can only upload your files to the categories that start with the name "MEMBERS." Follow the procedure below to upload your file(s).

    1. Click on the "MEMBER" category where your want to Upload the file to.
    2. Click on the "Upload File, Icon" at the top, second icon, from the right icon.
    3. Now, Please fill out at least the following boxes.
        · File Name: Your name for the file.
        · Description: A short description what the file is about.
        · Upload by: Your name or Login name.
    4. Now, click the Browse Button and navigate to the file on your computer.
    5. Now, click the Upload Button. THAT'S IT!
    6. You can now repeat steps 3 through 5 until all your files are uploaded.

Presently there is a 15MB file size limit.

All files will be checked for viruses and to insure that they fit the family oriented theme of this website.  (This is a GP Rated website.) 

We do not except X Rate files.  All X Rate Files will be deleted!

You can suggest a file format to be added by sending us an email by clicking on FEEDBACK (on the main menu on the left) or by sending us an email at: MultiMedia@setiuniverse.com  

Include your username on the request, we must verify that you are a member of Seti UNIVERSE.  (You must be a member to request a new file format.)

 (To make any kind of request, you must first be a Member of Seti UNIVERSE.  Don't worry, signing up is quick, simple, and most importantly it is Free!)  

1. Tell us what application the file is to be used for.
2. The type of file that you want to include, and its extension. 
        · Example: Text File -- aaa.txt or MSWord Document -- aaa.doc

We will then try to include your suggestion, and you will be notified as to the status of your suggestion.
